Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team.
This role will be instrumental in managing various HR functions in our organization, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
The HR Generalist will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring our HR practices align with our company values and objectives.
Key Responsibilities Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
Provide support and guidance to employees and management on HR-related matters.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Coordinate employee performance review processes and manage employee relations.
Administer employee benefits programs and answer employee queries regarding benefits.
Assist with payroll processing and resolve any payroll issues.
Participate in creating a positive and inclusive work culture that supports the company's mission and values.
Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, preferably in the education or tech industry.
Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Note:
Experience with social media management, project management, payroll processing, performance management is a plus.
